Banner Artwork Guide | Print-Ready Banner Files in Fife

Set the correct finished size Build artwork at full size where practical, or use a clear scale such as 50 percent or 25 percent and tell us the intended final dimensions.
Use a print-ready PDF Export a high-quality PDF with fonts outlined or embedded. Avoid low-quality screenshots or small web images.
Add bleed and keep text safe Extend backgrounds beyond the trim edge and keep important text, logos and QR codes away from edges, eyelets and pole pockets.
Check viewing distance A banner seen from a road, hall or event aisle needs larger text and simpler messaging than a graphic viewed from a metre away.
Tell us the finishing Eyelets, pole pockets and trims affect safe areas. Include installation notes when you send the artwork.

A print-ready PDF is best. We can also review common design file exports if you are unsure whether the artwork is ready.

Yes. Add bleed where possible so the banner can be trimmed cleanly without leaving unwanted white edges.

Text size depends on viewing distance. Roadside and event banners need larger, simpler typography than close-view indoor displays.

We can advise what is usable and help rebuild artwork where possible, but low-resolution logos or images may need to be replaced before print.
